Have you ever wanted to learn more about coffee? The expansive range of flavor notes within it? Or the best means and methods for brewing the perfect cup at home? Yes...?
Then join us at the Docent roastery on Edgewood the first Sunday of every month at 9am for Substance: An ongoing series of rotating in-depth educational classes focused on all things coffee from Docent’s roastmaster Nolan Hall.
Learn about the different regions coffee is grown, how it’s processed, and various roasting techniques. We will also be cupping (tasting) several coffees from Docent as we teach you how to identify the vast expanse of flavor notes in coffee like the pros.
All attendees will also receive a bag of Docent coffee of their choosing!
Learn the various means and correct methods for grinding and brewing coffee at home based on the coffee and brew method you choose. We will go over five different common brew methods in depth from grind size, weights, ratios, timing, and other lesser known tips and tricks.
